Meeting like-minded people from all ages (some professional , some amateur) at our monthly meetings
Having the opportunity to meet Guest Speakers
Joining Group Visits for local Field Trips
Joining the Group Visit for the annual long-weekend Field Trip in early May
As the WSGG is affiliated to the Geological Association (GA), there is access to GA events
Access to 'Zoom Meetings' from other groups
Receiving "Outcrop", our society bi-annual magazine relating to all things Geological, Earth Sciences, with some Cosmological and Archeological input
Membership is currently £15 for an Adult Single; and £25 for Adult Joint, and is due 1^st January each year.
For all Students in full time education the membership is £ FREE, (however "Outcrop" is limited to electronic pdf copy only)
Come to a monthly meeting as a F.o.C. Guest to get a feel for the WSGS to consider joining.
